WHO WE ARE

We are a Swiss holiday resort that is particularly well suited for family holidays. The tourism service providers gear their offers specifically to the needs of the "family" guest group. We continuously seek to improve the quality of, and pay special attention to the sustainability of our services.

WHAT WE WANT

Our aim is to offer children, together with their parents or accompanying adults, a stay that fully meets their wishes and needs. Family-friendliness is at the heart of our efforts and is supported by all signatory service providers as well as the local population.

Monday is Kids Day! For our little guests a day in a class of its own with fun & games in the sports centre Grächen.
Meet at 4:45 p.m. at the reception desk of the Family Hotel & Spa Desirée.

Registration: On the same day until 11.00 am at the reception (minimum 4 children)

Snowbiking – sun, fun & more! - with guide

Swap your skis for a snowbike, get a short introduction and off you go! The guide will accompany you through the ski area for two hours. Action & snow fun guaranteed!

Registration: by 5 p.m. the day before at the reception (minimum 2 persons)
Equipment: Warm winter clothes & ski or snowboard boots

Snowshoe hike - with guide

Experience the unique winter hiking world of Grächen. Through the forest to the most beautiful panoramic views. The hike takes approx. 1.5 hours - snowshoes are provided. Pure nature - simply enjoy.

Registration: Till 20.00 hrs the day before at reception (minimum 2 persons)
Equipment: Warm clothes & sturdy walking shoes

Village tour

The village tour is a unique experience for the whole family!

Follow the old village streets and embark on a little adventure. You can enjoy this experience whenever you feel like it, as it is an independent guided tour. In addition to the beautiful pictures, the booklet for the tour also has QR codes that play the tour guide's stories as audio.

Registration: You can pick up the booklet free of charge at our reception and start the tour.

Hannigspa

In the hotel's own 6x12m swimming pool with bubble bath at the Aktiv Hotel & Spa Hannigalp, incidentally the only indoor pool in Grächen, you can take a relaxing dip and simply let everyday life drift away!

Cost of indoor swimming pool: Free for all guests of the Matterhorn Valley Hotels: The pool is open from 8.00 to 16.00.

Spa costs: Local price CHF 35.- for all guests of the Matterhorn Valley Hotels.

Meat skewer «Tom Dooley»

This delicious meat skewer with flambéed beef fillet médaillons is served with a variety of cold sauces, fresh fruit, side dishes of your choice and a salad. This speciality has been a tradition in the Hotel-Restaurant Hannigalp for many years and is unique in Grächen.

When: Tuesday & Thursday to Sunday on reservation
